EL PASO, TEXAS – UTEP football season tickets are on sale now by calling 747-6150 or visiting the UTEP Athletics Season Ticket Office, located in Brumbelow Building Room 109 next to the Don Haskins Center.

 

The Miners will play five games in the Sun Bowl this fall, including the home opener versus Incarnate Word (Sept. 26) and Conference USA matchups with UTSA (Oct. 3), Florida Atlantic (Oct. 24), Rice (Nov. 7) and Louisiana Tech (Nov. 21).

 

Rice completed an 8-5 season by routing Fresno State, 30-6, in the Hawaii Bowl.  Louisiana Tech is the defending C-USA West Division champion; the Bulldogs finished 9-5 and also ended the year with a postseason victory, topping Illinois in the Zaxby’s Heart of Dallas Bowl 35-18.

The Miners were 7-6 last season, 5-3 in league play and played in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl, capping their most successful season in nine years.
